[Blue Archive] Specials PVE Tier List & Analysis

Yoshimi

EX Skill: Stun enemies in a small area then after a short delay deal damage equal to 220% attack power (4 cost)

Normal Skill: Every 25 seconds deals 191% attack damage to enemies in an area

Passive Skill: Increases her critical rate by 14%

Sub Skill: Increases her allies debuff power by 9.1%

Analysis: Yoshimi is basically a worse Hare. Her stun range is smaller and the animation is a bit longer. She is also a base 1* unit so her stats are worse. Nothing else to really say.

Skill level priority: Sub skill -> Normal skill -> Passive skill

Shizuko

EX Skill: Creates a piece of cover with HP equal to 29.2% of Shizuko’s max hp that also increases the accuracy of allies in a circular area by 16.3% for 30 seconds (3 cost)

Normal Skill: Every 25 seconds deal 194% attack damage to an enemy and reduce its attack by 17.4% for 21 seconds

Passive Skill: Increases her accuracy by 14%

Sub Skill: Increases her allies critical rate by 9.1%

Analysis: Shizuko is a glorified Shimiko. However, unlike Shimiko, she does have some potential. If you can be bothered to invest into her 3* upgrade, she becomes a really good passive backline unit for things such as raids. Her sub skill, like Saya’s, gives the highest DPS increase for a sub skill in the game currently, and she also, like Kotama, inflicts attack down on the boss with a near-permanent uptime. And yes, those attack downs do stack. Is this costly investment worth it, however, for a pure backline unit, who’s EX skill you will (nearly) never touch? That’s up to you to decide.

Skill level priority: Sub skill -> Normal skill -> Passive skill

Juri

EX Skill: Tosses a food that lures up to 4 nearby enemies towards it, poisoning them and dealing 58.9% attack damage per tick for 20 seconds (3 cost)

Normal skill: Every 20 seconds reduce the attack speed of the enemy with the highest attack by 18.1% for 16 seconds

Passive Skill: Increases her attack power by 14%

Sub Skill: Increases her allies max HP by 9.1%

Analysis: Juri is a very underwhelming character. On paper, a grouping skill looks very useful, but in actuality it does barely anything. Mobs will just go to the bait then immediately run back into cover usually, whilst the AoE also isn’t big enough to matter. Nor does it count as crowd control for the purpose of interrupting enemies. Just not useful.

Skill level priority: Normal skill -> Sub skill -> Passive skill

Airi

EX Skill: Deals damage within a circular area equal to 265% attack power and slows enemies by 22.8% for 20 seconds (5 cost, also slows attack speed at lvl 3)

Normal skill: Every 25 seconds reduce the attack speed of a random enemy by 18.4% for 30 seconds

Passive Skill: Increases her attack power by 14%

Sub Skill: Increases her allies attack speed by 9.1%

Analysis: I guess she’s uh. Unique? She has an AoE slow which nobody else offers but it’s extremely overcosted so i can’t really see the use for her.

Skill level priority: Sub skill -> Normal skill -> Passive skill

Shimiko

EX Skill: Creates a piece of cover that also increases the defense of nearby allies by 16.1% for 30 seconds (3 cost)

Normal skill: Every 35 seconds grants a shield effect equal to 119% of her healing power to the ally with the lowest HP for 16 seconds

Passive Skill: Increases her healing power by 14%

Sub Skill: Increases her allies defense by 9.1%

Analysis: Shimiko would actually be a pretty decent character if she wasn’t held back by several factors: her EX skill is more or less useless, and her normal skill is severely hampered by how low her healing power is. All in all not worth using.

Skill level priority: Normal skill -> Passive skill -> Sub skill
