Netflix 官方於本週正式宣佈從 Sunrise Origin Studio 拿下【機動戰士GUNDAM】真人版電影之全球版權，將攜手 Legendary Pictures 一同開發此項目，並同步公開導演一職將由《Kong: Skull Island》導演 Jordan Vogt-Roberts 接任，劇本則由 Brian K. Vaughan 執筆創作。
