[Last Cloudia] Guide to beating Mother, the Self Defense System

If you are frustrated with Mother in [Last Cloudia] and you cannot afford to move out from basement don’t want to keep trying because the AI keep hitting or moving next to her, then there is a slightly easier way to beat it.

1. Equip Meredy with standard DPS skill, but have Purple Orb and/or Stock Skill.
2. Equip the Moonlit Murder ark (yes, that R ark) on Meredy.
3. Make sure the rest of your party are either support that hit like wet noodle, or give him Elderking Mask in the case of Gen.
4. When the battle begins, move to Mother and start regular bonking with Meredy.
5. The add will walk into range from time to time, make sure you leave at least one alive so you don’t have to deal with the second wave. A few regular attack from Meredy will kill the add – you do not want to kill them all and spawn the red one.
6. Moonlit Murder has a super low chance (0.5% or lower?) to instantly break a boss.
7. Once the boss breaks, unload all of your skill 3, then skill 2.

8. Mother has HP stop at roughly 75%, 50%, 25%, 10%. So once you notice the HP bar stop dropping, stop your action.
9. Have your support cast Glass Record so you can refill skill 3, just in case you get a lucky break in short moment (you won’t).
10. Go regular bonking on Mother again.
11. Repeat step 5 to 10 until you save enough to move out from basement finish.
12. You will need to survive at least 2 special at 25% and 10% (Auto resurrection is your friend), and you will not get the 40 crystal from finish in 3 minutes and no death. Took me like 15 minutes because the add walk into the range during break and I have to stop attacking.

It is probably possible to use some other DPS, but Meredy has natural thunder attack/machine slayer, and has a higher hit count for Moonlit Murder.
